To configure AliveProxy Standard, you need to add your target proxy servers to its database, test their anonymity, and apply them to your applications. AliveProxy is a classic Windows proxy management software designed to automate searching, testing, and switching between active proxy lists. 🛠️ 3-Step Configuration Guide 1. Import Proxy List Launch AliveProxy Standard.
Click on File -> Import (or click the Import button on the main toolbar).
Browse and select your .txt or .csv list containing proxies formatted as IP:Port (e.g., 192.168.1.1:8080). 2. Check and Filter Proxies
Click the Check button (represented by a play/checkmark icon) to run an active ping and anonymity scan. Let the engine filter out dead connections.
Right-click the list and use the filtering options to display only High Anonymity (Elite) or Anonymous proxies, as transparent proxies will expose your real IP address. 3. Route Your Application Traffic
You can use AliveProxy in two different ways to mask your system traffic:
Internal Loopback (Recommended): Go to Tools -> Options inside AliveProxy and note the local address and port it sets up (usually 127.0.0.1:8000). Open your browser or target application’s network settings, enable proxy configuration, and point it directly to 127.0.0.1 and your specific internal port. AliveProxy will cycle backend IPs automatically.
Direct Export: Right-click the vetted “Alive” list, select Export, and save the working proxies to paste manually into your multi-accounting browsers, scrapers, or network clients. ⚡ Key Settings to Optimize
To keep your configuration running optimally without lagging, adjust these values in Tools -> Options:
Timeout: Set the timeout parameter between 5 to 10 seconds. Lower values drop slow proxies immediately, keeping your browsing speed fast.
Threads: Set testing threads between 20 and 50 depending on your CPU power. Higher threads process long proxy lists in under a minute.
Auto-Switching: Turn on auto-rotation and specify an interval (e.g., every 5 minutes) to automatically switch your connection to the next healthy proxy in line. Oracle Help Center Chapter 19 Tuning Server Performance – Oracle Help Center
